With PHE I want to put a project together for - Demonstrate on a large scale the feasibility of using hydrogen to support integration of renewable energy sources into the energy systems for Islands. Together with a consortium create an Investment Plan for a micro-grid template project for the 2000 Islands in EU.

 

With The installation of intermittent renewables such as wind and solar (photovoltaics), can produce overcapacity in summer and wind in winter for islands looking to move towards the holy grail of a 100% clean, a renewable energy micro-grid power system which is remotely monitored with hydrogen storage that can deliver to islands energy and a transport zero emission fuel for vehicle and boats.

 

To include a small scale Distributed Modular Gasification Waste to Energy System is able to extract energy from 25 tons per day of municipal, commercial, and industrial waste to produce; I tonne a day of hydrogen and 28MWh of electricity (providing green electricity and road-quality pure hydrogen) as when, and where needed. Coupled with wind and solar the hydrogen would work has a continuous energy storage for an island micro-grid making every island self-sufficient in electricity energy and transport fuel for vehicles and boats. Hydrogen would be stored in large volumes to be turned back in electricity if and when it is required.
