About Me

The Centre for Competitiveness Promotion is a non-profit organisation. It is established in 2011 and itss mission is to foster and develop the capacities of SMEs, public and private institutions, organisations and communities for enhancing and empowering the competitiveness through application of the innovation, entrepreneurship, development of human resources, employment of women and youth to contribute in the sustainable social and economic development of the country.

The Centre has extensive experience working in EU projects, in-company consultancy, market research, business support, market researches, analysis, entrepreneurship training and learning and carrier development, training to hospitality industry, etc.

AREAS OF ACTIVITIES

  1. Project Management- The Centre has implemented the EU funded porjects under COSME programme "EnterpriseEurope Network" 20152016 "Erasmus for Younfìg Entrepreneurs 2016-2018, The Project "BalkanMd e-Business Pages" under INTERREG programme. "Support the civil Society organisations to develop social enterprises in Albania" under IPA Programme.
  2. In the area of the development of SMEs, the Centre supports the increasing of competitiveness among businesses through the business planning, business promotion, auditing of the company readiness for growth, support on start-ups and support companies for business opportunities, access to finance and market access. Activities for in-company consultancy on export promotion and management of human ;The centre, also, delivers the consultancy services for companies interested to apply for funds, grants or projects in the field of investment or regional development. Also, the Centre deliver training on specific thematic such as strategic business planning, sales and marketing, customer services, entrepreneurship and management of human resources.
  3. In the area of entrepreneurship promotion and entrepreneurship learning, the Centre has concentrated its works: firstly, by providing training and mentoring activities to stimulate entrepreneurial spirits to the new entrepreneurs and the consolidated businesses secondly by entrepreneurship learning in the formal and informal educational systems through implementation of the projects in school and universities and new start-ups.
  4. In the area of youth employment, the Centre in cooperation with foundations and international organisations operating in this field, has contributed in conducting studies, and giving recommendations for better improvement of the youth position on different communities and increasing the chances for ; Furthermore, the Centre of training for carrier development and increasing the competencies via improvement of knowledge and skills requires in labour ;
  5. In the area of development of the hospitality and tourism industry, the offers support and consultancy in hotel management, destination development,  tourism promotion on the specific areas, development of rural and family tourism, agro-tourism, etc. Also, the Centre has expertise for conducting training with modular programmes for hotels in the management aspects, services, working procedures, personnel, marketing and sales, etc.
  6. In the area of improvement and empowering of social and economic status for women. The Centre in all its expertise aspects, a special focus is concentrated to provide opportunities for development of women, and not only to those involved in business, but also to women of rural areas through development of family tourism, improvement of quality of life in their own family environment, as well as the young girls not pursuing high schools or just graduated in order to confidently lead on labour market.
  7. In the area of the development of the vocational educational training, the Centre offer support and training for teachers for Orientation of youth to ;The experts have contributed in preparation of modular programmes for secondary general education, improvement on the curricula programmes of teaching, text school preparation and learning materials for the profiles: hotel and tourism schools, general education and other profiles of vocational education.
  8. In the area of institutional aspects, the Centre has supported the Albanian government in self-assessment of readiness of the private sector in planning of financial assistance for Albania through IPA II (2014-2020). The Centre’s experts has been committed to the institutional support  in installation of the national innovation systems, studies, training need assessment for governmental institutions, reporting on SME policies in Albania, etc.
