About Me

The «Pan Cyprian  Anti-Leukemia Association ‘ZOE’» is a charitable institution having as its basic aim our fellow human-beings suffering from haematological problems. The institution was established in May 2002 and was approved by the registrar of union and institution authority as a charitable institution.

The aims/objectives of the institution shall be:

  1. The correct and accomplished confrontation of haematological diseases and other coherent diseases for children and adults, their caring and their treatment.
  2. The solidarity and the provision of any kind of help to the patients and their families.
  3. The confrontation of special problems within the families that have children and adults suffering from leukemia and other haematological problems as well as within the hospitals and the society.
  4. The updating, the enlightenment and the sensitizing of the Cypriot society concerning leukemia, the problems affecting the patients’ families, the situation and the perspectives that exist in these issues  around the world.
  5. The pursuit in any way to the upgrading and updating the means and the services necessary to better diagnose and treat these kinds of diseases.
  6. The organisation of scientific seminars to correctly inform the patients and their families regarding new scientific and social developments.
