Koinè is a social cooperative, a non-profit organization with 25 years of experience. It has more than 300 workers members. Koinè works on four major fields: early childood, youth and families, environmental education and training with a specific attention to cultural and sustainability themes. Koinè plans and realizes activities starting from the emerging needs of the community. It manages services in partnership with local governments, companies, other non-profit organizations to contribute to the full achievement of common objectives, always searching for innovations, social cohesiveness and sustainability. Final aim of the cooperative is to combine business creativity with solidarity and democracy needs, promoting participation practices and local sustainable development strategies.
