Introduction
Inspired by Saint Luigi Orione’s philosophy, a group of missionary priests came together in 1992 to set up centers to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.
The motto is DO GOOD TO ALL…ANYTIME… ANYWHERE.
About us
The objective of our action is to strengthen and improve preventive activities and expand the opportunities for social inclusion and human development for young people, through a participative and coordinated strategy with extensive community participation. It aims to assist socially disadvantaged young entrepreneurs to build their own businesses, by offering them support and entrepreneurial resources that would otherwise not be obtainable.
The Congregation has become one of the leading organizations offering support services for entrepreneurs providing young people with access to financing, training, and ongoing support as they start their own businesses. Support is provided for a training program for vulnerable youths, after a study to determine the courses and means of delivering the training in response to demand in the territories’ most vulnerable communities and to identify possible partnerships with the private sector and NGOs that can finance the labor initiatives.
The extensive experience of the members of the Consortium and their relationship with the wider NGO/CSO community is essential to building from the pilot stage to a transnational system.
It is dedicated to social and economic development of the poor with particular strengths and wide-ranging contacts with social and peasant-based organizations in semi urban and rural and communities.
Congregation of Don Orione has contacts and partner organizations throughout Albania, it also has different regional and sector strengths particularly with training and youth based organizations.

Key areas of expertise
Vocational education and basic education projects, development of learning methodologies, development of educational technologies, development of courses and modules making use of innovative methodologies such as: open/flexible learning methodologies, e-learning, learning needs analysis, development of professional profiles and lists of skills and competencies, development of synergies at local, national and transnational level.
