My name is Dr. Lorena (Alikaj) Serjanaj and I work as a Director of Scientific Research Centre of Faculty of Economy, at University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali”, Vlore, Albania. My demanding nature, passion for research and desire to learn has led me to constantly work and seek for myself in terms of professional growth. I teach economics in related courses for bachelor and master’s program at Vlora University and as well as I do extensive academic research and publications. Since 2019, I am appointed as a Coordinator of the Bachelor Study Program in "Economics" and I assist and provide consultancy to students. I have worked as a collaborator in some projects financed by EU programmes and I have showed great responsibility and self-motivation in fulfilling all the project requirements in due time. I have always focused in achieving the goals and result oriented demonstrating to be professional, dependable, and responsible. Currently, I am a MC Member in COST Action CA18213- “Rural NEET Youth Network: Modeling The Risks Underlying Rural NEETS Social Exclusion (RNYN)” for the period 2019-2023, and in COST Action CA19117 “Researcher Mental Health (ReMO)” for the period 2020-2024. I am leading two projects in field of creating University-Industry partnerships and discovering new collaborations to foster innovation and economic growth in my country.
