About Me

My main areas of research are applications of shape grammars in architecture namely for housing transformations. I also works on virtual and augmented reality applied to architecture and the analysis of the building space namely considering space perception. I develop my research in ISTAR-IUL, a multidisciplinary research center, where I collaborate with researchers from the fields of Computer Sciences, Mathematics and ;

I graduated in Architecture ( 1998) and have a PhD in Architecture ( 2012).

I'm currently the director of and fellow researcher at the Information Sciences Technologies and Architecture Research Center (ISTAR-IUL). I was between 2013 and 2016 director of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (DAU) and of the Integrated Master in Architecture at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. I have participated in national and international research projects and published her work in several journalsl. I have been expert evaluator for the European Commission since 2015.
