About Me

I am a doctorate in psychology with an investigation in the area of ​​conflict and violence in school context and I graduated and finished the master's degree in Psychology at the University of Porto. I'm an effective member of the Order of Psychologists, being recognized by the same as Specialist in Psychology of Education and Clinical and Health Psychology. I am postgraduate in Psychology in Health Centers and Conflict Mediation in School Context. I have specialization courses in eating disorders and in family mediation. Since 2006, I have been working in the Portuguese Red Cross and currently work in ADEIMA, integrated at the Education Division of the Matosinhos City Council (specifically in the Abel Salazar School Group) and I am also coordinator and mentor of the school mediation project "Mediation of Conflicts - For a new Culture of Coexistence". I am also a conflict mediator certified by the International Mediation Institute's Qualifying Assessment Program in family and school context, having extensive experience and training in these areas. I am a collaborator of the Institute of Mediation of the University Lusófona of Porto, being also invited teacher in other public and private universities. I'm also a supervisor of internships in conflict mediation and psychology. As a trainer, certified by the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training, by the Pedagogical Scientific Council of Continuing Education and by the General Directorate of School Administration, I have taught various training courses for teachers and other target audiences in psychology, relational skills, management and conflict mediation.
