IPN-LIS is one of the six IPN’s R&D laboratories. Focused on the Informatics, this specific laboratory offers expertise in information and communication technology (ICT) to companies and public bodies, bringing together a wide range of skills. LIS includes all the fields of Information and Communication Technology, namely Information Systems, Communication Systems, Databases, Intelligent Systems, Industrial Informatics, Multimedia Systems, and Interactive Training Systems.
IPNlis has great experience in constructing SaaS platforms, in cloud environments, SOA architectures; business role management platforms, processes workflows systems and taxonomy management systems.
Adding to IPN-LIS capabilities, the tight-relation with the University of Coimbra (one of the biggest IPN's associates) provides access to ICT specialized researchers and innovative knowledge in multiple areas.
