Juliana Carvalho is a PhD candidate in Transport Systems. She holds an M.A. in Human Settlements and Environment and a B.A. in International Relations. She has specialisations in Strategic Project Management and Geographical Information Systems. She has lived in Chile, and Argentina, and currently lives in Portugal.
Her main topics of interest are related to sustainable urban mobility, transnational collaboration projects, participatory processes, and innovative approaches related to decarbonisation and circular economy. She has a proven track record in various areas, including writing grant applications, working with multicultural teams, developing institutional reports, preparing and delivering public presentations, and developing applied research. Her diverse education and extensive experience uniquely position her to spearhead activities related to sustainability transitions and international collaboration.
