About Me

Victor Neto is an invited assistant professor and researcher at the University of Aveiro (Portugal). He is also involved in consultancy and project management in the scope of advanced manufacturing technologies.

He currently lectures "Advanced Manufacturing Technologies" and "Eco-design and Eco-efficiency" and his research focus is on narrowing the gap between science and its industrial entrepreneurial application, with special care on the trinity of materials (specially, nanomaterials); fabrication technologies; and products.

Victor Neto has been involved, as coordinator, project manager or researcher in several projects and project applications, including H2020, Eramus+ and former Tempus and Interreg projects, in the field of Education, Materials and Fabrications Technologies, Social Inclusion and Technology Dissemination.

Victor Neto has a BSc degree in Physics Engineering (2001); MSc in Applied Physics (2004), a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2008) and a MSc in Management (2012).
