I am a part of so-called Intermediate Body, I am responsible for its administration and evaluation (lead evaluation process) of the project proposals under Regions in Growth Operational Program, axis ;
In the recent years Burgas Municipality administration has gained experience in developing and delivering policy for creation of better environment, good services and high administrative capacity. Some projects under transnational and cross-border cooperation programmes have been implemented by the municipality as a leading beneficiary and some as a partner as ; Those projects provide opportunities for Burgas municipality administration to be a part of the communication corridors between EU member states, exchange knowledge and experience.
Currently Burgas Municipality is a member of different EU conventions and agreements/networks for working on improvement of energy efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation and environmental protection.
