- Information Technology (IT) Coordinator;
- Strategic planning, organisation and execution of Câmara Municipal de Lousada IT functions and systems support;
- Lead and shape the strategy for the IT department, developing long-term plans. Working closely with all internal departments, to assess and facilitate best practice solutions and work in partnership to provide the best citizen services possible;
- Accountable for overseeing the ongoing deployment, integration, monitoring and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and operations (including operating systems, infrastructure, business process systems, servers, PCs, software applications, telephones and peripherals);
- Provide robust, scalable, user-friendly and cost-effective solutions, and ensure all services are delivered to the required compliance, security and delivery standards, identifying any areas of potential risk or weakness and implementing systems of control to protect the availability, privacy and integrity of data;
- Create and manage budget for IT department;
- As department head, lead and manage the IT team to uphold standards, oversee the IT budget, and ensure all documentation and procedures are maintained and communicated appropriately ( user and system manuals, and licence agreements) for efficiency and to maintain business continuity in the event of crisis.
- Research and Apply for European Union Funds Programs, find ways to fund new public administration reform, Energy eficiency, Smart Cities projects, etc.
