NAXTA was established in Bologna in January 2001. Its activities are directed to European integration, international cooperation and internationalisation of public and private entities which operate at the local, regional and national level.
NAXTA combines different complementary experiences in designing projects and providing technical assistance under EU funding programmes and providing qualified technical assistance to more than 200 public and private entities.
We serve the needs of public authorities, territorial and economic development agencies, resource centres, business representative organisations wishing to strengthen and develop international activities in different geographic areas, including the Balkan peninsula, Central Europe and Northern Africa.
NAXTA develops and delivers project design, technical assistance, project management and monitors opportunities within European and international development programmes.
NAXTA has experience in managing over 150 projects since 2001, mainly under EU funds. Out of these projects, over 60 were funded in the framework of European Territorial Cooperation programmes, such as Interreg Central Europe and MED, IPA Adriatic, Adrion and CBC Italy-Croatia.
