About Me
I am a University professor in the area of forensic genetics also engaged in educational projects (I have been the coordinator in two Erasmus + international projects).
I am an external monitor for EU international projects in the area of security ( VISAGE and Euroforgen NOE.
I am also the president of the Municipality Assembly in my own town Aveiro, since 2017.
I follow calls in the areas of forensic sciences, education, societal challenges, biological sciences, justice and security.
I have former cooperations with several educational institutions in UK, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Forensic Institute of Innsbruck, ; I have cooperations with East Timor , Angola and Brasil.
