About Me

I´m a science passionate and cycling enthusiast. Currently doing a Bioenergy Ph.D., with a specialization in bioplastics (mostly bio-based, like chitosan) and bionanocomposites, working in the valorization of agro-industrial lignocellulosic biomass for Cellulose Nanocrystals isolation and consequently application as reinforcement agents. Researcher in MEtRICs Group involved in several projects. Member of Cubic B - Biomass for Bioenergy and Bioproducts Lab. Invited Professor in laboratory classes at Bioenergy and Food Technology and Safety Masters in DCTB FCT/UNL.
