We are an organization, which creates opportunities for young people who would like to be active, would like to try and learn something new and gain new experience and knowledge for personal as well as professional development and growth.
Our goals are:
- to increase employment of young people and to support their personal and professional development;
- to stimulate their creation of new and innovative ideas as the basis for entrepreneurial initiatives of young people, to motivate them and support them in their path towards their own businesses;
- to promote active citizenship, civic participation and volunteering
- to encourage a responsible attitude towards nature and animals, promote a healthy lifestyle and protect the environment;
- to contribute to the development of rural areas and disadvantaged regions and bring educational opportunities to young people with fewer opportunities;
- to endorse the elimination of gender stereotypes, support integration of minorities and refugees into the society and promote equality of opportunity for all.
We are active in the field of youth and adult education as coordinators but also as partners of different projects in our country and abroad. We work both, at:
INTERNATIONAL LEVEL - our activities and projects include:
- hosting participants from various countries in Slovakia and organizing youth exchanges, trainings, conferences here,
- sending Slovak youngsters for youth exchanges and EVS abroad,
- long-term cooperation with NGOs from around the world within KA2 – strategic partnership, capacity building, Sport action, Europe for Citizens projects (diverse projects about topics such as entrepreneurial education, migration, hate speech, active citizenship, water sports etc.)
LOCAL/NATIONAL LEVEL – we organize: workshops, ;depends on our current projects, sometimes our activities are unique, we interviewed refugees in order to find out their stories, problems and needs and to share them with the public in order to create a more open and intercultural society or interviews with people who fighted communism in Slovakia…and many more)
