TECES was established in 2001 as a technological centre (cluster) by Slovenian companies and two faculties active in the field of electrical energy conversion and is since 2001 strengthening the development of partnerships between businesses and research ;
From its original role of the initiator of cooperation, to coordinator of projects and finally as the development institution with own development competencies and solutions in the field of inverters, electrical drives and power electronics, TECES has to this day grown into a recognized Slovenian innovation mechanism for strengthening the development cooperation, competencies and technologies in the fields of efficient energy conversion and use, as well as energy-efficient systems.
