Professor of Urban Physical Geography. Interested in Nature based Solutions (NbS), Sustainable Drainage Systems, wastewater management in slums and refugee camps to improve environmental quality (water, soil, biodiversity etc). Also interested in addressing Contaminants of Emerging Concern using NbS, particularly informal settlements in South Africa and Brazil.
