Ch. Kapopoulos & Associates Co., (hereinafter "AQUATERRA"), operating in Patras (Gr) since 2007, is activated in the field of geosciences and engineering, providing services and solutions related to shore protection, coastal infrastructure, environmental protection, green economy and blue growth activities.
AQUATERRA applies engineering solutions to mitigate coastal erosion impacts using its patented methodology entitled "Coastal protection scheme using reef structures" (Hellenic Industrial Property Organization, No. 1008536, issued up to 2034).
AQUATERRA mainly conducts surveys, studies and applications for the public and the private sector, mainly focused on coastal zone protection and beach restoration by performing numerical simulations/modeling using commercial software as well as in-House Software entitled Aphrodite3D.
