Who we are
We are a Civic Non-profit Organization founded in 2014.
Our members are teacher - guidance and career counsellor volunteers previously in Counselling and Orientation Offices in Secondary schools. In 2011 the GRASEP abolished and our students have no guidance and advice to future educational and occupational choices.
Aim:
The purpose of the company is non-profit, but generally of the social economy, and mainly consists of combating unemployment among young people 15-35 years old and adults aged 50+
Objectives and Actions:
- Analysis of data on the labour market.
- Development of youngster’s employability through career guidance
- Development of career skills in young people and adults
- Promotion of entrepreneurship
- Participation in European projects on education, training and the identification of best practices and methods for implementation.
Means:
- Presentations of the education system and its connection with the labour market in secondary schools.
- Information events for parents in collaboration with their respective parents' associations and municipalities.
- Collaboration with Ministries of Education and Labour and OAED (Manpower Employment Organisation)
In this context the role of the company is to act as patron of young people in their efforts to enter the labour market approaching within their schools, but also their unemployed parents and guardians.
