We will be pleased to answer your questions and discuss possibilities of a possible future cooperation. OIC Poland Foundation was founded in 1990 and has been rising for the past 30 years. It acts for economic and social progress in the south-eastern Poland and belongs to the leading group of training organizations in the Lublin region. Opportunity, Innovation, and Creativity are the three tenets that drive the organization going forward. OIC is a certified ISO in training services, consultancy, financial and information services. The main objective of OIC is to prevent unemployment and foster economic development by implementation of educational and counselling programmes, creating business opportunities, developing entrepreneurial skills and providing support measures for newly established companies and start-ups, as well as other services targeted at inhabitants of the region. OIC supports the development of entrepreneurship among inhabitants of the region. The support for start-ups is focused on delivering trainings and counselling services to prepare would-be-entrepreneurs for starting and running companies but also on financial support. In the period 2009-2018, the OIC Poland Foundation supported the establishment of more than 700 companies in Lubelskie Voivodship as well as 20 social co-operatives. The amount of grants awarded for start-ups has exceeded 30 mln PLN / 7 mln EUR. Since 2010, the OIC Poland Foundation has been running the Loan Fund for SMEs. 450 enterprises received loans for implementation of new technological solutions, purchase of machinery and/or equipment, development, adaptation and modernization of production facilities or creation of new workplaces. The amount of the granted loans has exceeded 30 mln PLN/7 mln EUR. Nowadays the OIC Poland Foundation is implementing the project "Start-Up Platform - Unicorn Hub" focused on inbucation of innovative start-ups. The selected start-ups take part in an incubation program lasting up to four months, with a wide range of basic services at their disposal (incl. providing organizational support, work space, mentoring, accounting services, legal services, tax consultation) and a wide package of expert services (incl. refining business models, idea verification, financing options or development services necessary to develop MVP). More than 200 start-ups were incubated during last 2,5 years. OIC Poland has been also chosen as an organizer of the national stage of the Creative Business Cup in order to select a start-up that will take part in the international final in Copenhagen in 2020. Our target groups are not only companies but also teachers and pupils, higher education institutions, employees of public institutions, the unemployed, etc. We cooperate with more than 400 experts/trainers. In 2000, the Foundation established the University of Economics and Innovation in Lublin. OIC has implemented more than 250 different projects co-funded by the EU under different programmes such as ESF, ERDF, ERASMUS+, COSME, Neighbourhood Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme, 6th Framework Programme, Interreg, LLP. It is currently cooperating with numerous institutions from Europe while implementing international projects. OIC Poland has also elaborated innovate didactic tools ( simulation company - game), ICT tools for the competence assessment of managers, employees or potential employees to measure specific knowledge, perceptions, and skills as well as ICT tools for diagnosis of professional predispositions or electronic tools for diagnosis of cognitive abilities and learning styles of pupils of primary and secondary schools. The tools are strongly oriented on soft skills and other key qualities underpinning success on labour. Currently we are looking for new business opportunities worldwide!
