About Me

I am a European project technician at ;The Andalusian Institute of Agrarian and Fishing Research and Training (IFAPA) is an Administrative Agency of the Andalusian Government created by the Law 1/2003 of the Parliament of Andalusia, integrating a network of 15 research and training centres, existing for over 40 years. It is linked to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development and is related to the sector through the participation of 11 professional organizations of agriculture and fisheries in its Social Council.

The institute's mission is to contribute to the modernization of agriculture, fisheries and food of Andalusia and improving its competitiveness through research, innovation, technology transfer and training of professionals in these sectors.

Through its network of 15 research and training centres, distributed throughout Andalusia, this Institute covers one of the largest agricultural areas in Europe. This network of research centres counts with experienced researchers and technicians, as well as an important set of technical resources: germplasm banks (olive, strawberry, legumes etc.), specialized laboratories, Agri-Food facilities and aquaculture facilities, class-rooms, residences, libraries with important collections of scientific and technical literature, and more than 1,000 ha of experimental fields, that entirely cover the Andalusian agro-climatic conditions, and crops.
