The Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) delivers solutions for an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable agriculture – together with society.

Agricultural landscape research requires and generates extensive landscape data and develops models to explain patterns and processes. The task of the research platform "Data Analysis & Simulation" is therefore to bring together and provide data on different structural, spatial and temporal scales, to further develop methods for the analysis of complex data sets and to develop a coherent modelling environment for the integration of the diverse model approaches.
