About Me

Dr. Ing. Ibtissem BEN ASSAKER, Associate professor at the Research and Technology Centre of Energy (CRTEn, Tunisia). She is conducting research activities on electrosynthesis of nanomaterials based in semiconductor for renewable energies applications.

I currently head a research group “energy storage” within the CRTEn. My research interests include synthesis and characterization, emerging technologies, and applications.My research interests focus on nanostructured materials prepared by electrodeposition technique onto several substrate to develop diverse Nano architectures including nanowires, nanoflowers and heterojunction materials for various applications, such as catalysts, photoelectrocatalysis devices, sensors, hydrogen production and supercapacitors. I'am author of over 52 publications. I have Supervised several graduated students. I'am involved in several national projects.
