About Me
Vahta is a SME, active in rural broadband projects (open access wholesale only active layer network operators) since 2007. From 2007 to 2013 we did several PPP fibre projects in rural areas.
In 2014 we launched (with local partners) the RUNE project idea, which materialized in the croatian and slovenian RUNE projects (started 2019, currently ongoing).
In 2020 we launched (with local partners) the same idea in Austria (project funded beginning 2022, currently ongoing).
We are currently active in promoting two additional projects, one in EU and one in an EU neighbour country.
Acting as project promotors also on other technology related projects, mainly energy/electricity.
