GAL Tirreno Eolie
Looking for Partnership Looking for Extra EU Funds
The GAL Tirreno Eolie is a Public-Private consortium between 14 municipalities, of the Sicilain North Estern coastal area and the Aeolian archipelago, and SMEs of Tourism, Agricolture and Cultural Heritage sector.
The main areas of intervention are sustainable tourism development and innovation of local production chains and systems (agri-food, forestry, crafts, manufacturing) and the valorisation of cultural goods and artistic heritage linked to the territory.
Municipalities are also interested in projects directly involving towns and citizens, such as twinning.
In addition, the LAG is actively involved in the climate change mission and in all actions related to environmental protection and sustainable development of the territory.
We have an INTERREG MED project in progress and we are interested in cooperation activities for developping and introduce innovations in our area, but also to spread out our best practices. For these reasons we are following the related topic calls of Horizon Europe, but also the INTERREG ones. We are a small organisation, so we are interested in participating as partner, but we can provide a strong stakeholders and local area involvement.
