About Me

At the moment I am working as a researcher in the Centre of Energy Environment and Technology (CIEMAT). There I am involved in many R&D projects, generally public funded and related to energy in the built environment. So I have gained a wide research and professional knowledge and experience in building energy consultancy, in building energy simulation, in evaluation of bioclimatic strategies and urban simulation and sustainable masterplan. I am contributing to the energy assessment, both theoretical (computational fluid dynamics, dynamical simulation) and experimental (temperature measurements, air flow, thermograms), of all kind of bioclimatic buildings (housing, office building, ) and sustainable urban masterplan.
During part of this period I got a PhD. on Building Physic by a thesis on Ventilated Facades, where I studied natural ventilation flows by simulation (CFD) and experimental studies. Additionally I have professional experience in development and application of analysis and tests characterization and diagnosis of materials.
