About Me

Coro Chasco is an accredited full professor in the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She earned his and graduated with honors in Applied Economic Modelling at ;She is invited professor in the King Juan Carlos University, Madrid (since 2016), Research Affiliate in the Research Group on Economy, Business and Internationalization on Nebrija University (since 2018) and External Research Fellow in the Instituto de Economía Internacional at Universitat Jaume I (since 2019). She also was Visiting Scholar at the Center for Spatial Data Science on the University of Chicago (2017, 2018), Adolfo Ibáñez University, Chile (2014), University of Franche-Comté, France (2011) and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2004), and visiting professor in the University of Franche-Comté, France (years 2013-2014). She directs the ECONRES Research Group (UAM) and works in applied econometrics and spatial analysis, with applications to regional growth, housing prices, environment pollution, tourism and quality of life. Professor Chasco is also co-editor of the journal Spatial Economic Analysis.
