COCEMFE, Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities, is a representative NGO of persons with physical & organic disabilities that pursues their full inclusion and active participation in all areas of ;COCEMFE is made up of 89 organizations that groups together more than 1600 associations and represents 2,5 million people with disabilities in ;
COCEMFE was established in March 1980. During these 40 years of activity, it has managed a large set of services that group together the activities directly aimed at satisfying the needs and expectations of our main stakeholders, the confederated entities and the people with physical and organic disability, in accordance with its mission, vision and values.
COCEMFE carries out projects on work inclusion, inclusive education, gender, women with disabilities, awareness, capacity building and citizen participation. All our projects have a human rights-based approach and gender approach. We also develop projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, from our Development Cooperation Department.
