About Me
My current research focuses on geochemical impact assessment, mine soil management, and best available techniques in landscape restoration. As an Adjunct Professor at the United Nations University, I study the global environmental challenges of coal phaseout. I hold the double academic degree of Candidate of Engineering by the Saint Petersburg Mining University and Doktor-Ingenieur by the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
