His research interests involve scientific AI; integrated modelling using data-driven, computational, and mathematical modelling paradigms; machine learning-enhanced simulation and verification; intelligent automation and decision-support for complex systems with interdisciplinary applications to systems and synthetic biology, membrane computing, and smart manufacturing.
