Mozaik is a non-profit organization with the aim to enable young people and adults living local area to integrate as cultural, vocational and social. Our organization incorporates 3 staffs all with experience in works for disadvantaged people the common interest that motivates cooperation within Mozaik, 42 volunteers from various fields (education, social services, etc.) and EVS volunteers.
It was established in 2010 in Samsun located in northern of Turkey to promote relation between disadvantaged groups including women, old people, disabled people and disadvantaged young people and other groups. The target group that is involved in our activities and local and international projects consist of ones who have no model and face many barriers on social, education and social life and generally many of them with migrant background. The aim of our organization is to found and reinforce resources for target group to develop their personality and own potential and gain new competences and skills and create new opportunities for ;
We cooperate with NGOs, public institutions (municipality, governorship, etc.), Counseling and Research Centre, city council, university, other educational institutions and organizations (that are active in the field of labor market). We organize and implement consultancy services on education and vocational areas according to needs of disadvantaged people with in cooperation with expert staff in their field. In addition we hold ICT, social media courses and mentoring services for young people to support in their carrier path. Our aim is to be role model for young people who need specific orientation and assistance.
In addition we create understanding and awareness on youth leadership, human rights, conflict resolution, civic responsibility, democracy in local area and civil society ;
