Dear all,

European Institute for Local Development (EILD) was founded in 2009 as an independent non- governmental organization whose members are European citizens and organizations interested in supporting regional development activities. EILD operates as a social player, emphasizing in disadvantaged groups in Local and Regional Level, thus having built significant expertise on issues of migration and integration, providing innovative solutions for complex social challenges.

EILD is currently participating in developing a project proposal for the AMIF Open Call on Information and awareness raising campaigns on the risks of irregular migration, which has an approaching deadline on July 5th, 2022.

The call aims to counter the narrative presented by migrant smugglers and to change the perception of people pondering to migrate, in order to deter them from choosing irregular migration routes. More specifically, project proposals under this call are required to develop information and communication strategies, which will provide factual and trustworthy information on the risks of irregular migration, as well as enhance credible voices relevant to the issue, while engaging stakeholders, local and diaspora communities.

Since the requirements of the Call paint a specific geographic scope, EILD is looking to engage partners from the specific following countries: Turkey, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Germany.
