About Me

European Institute for Local Development (EILD) is a Greek NGO. EILD was founded in 2009 as an independent non-governmental organization whose members are European citizens and organizations interested in supporting regional development activities.

EILD'S mission is to consistently provide innovative high quality services that improve the economy of regions and the quality of life in urban and rural areas by supporting and promoting experience sharing between its members and partners for sustaining international cooperation, skillful networking and further progress and growth. Our organization's goals and networks come in support of fulfilling our mission.   

EILD is activated in various fields such as: regional development, environment, development of new technologies and transfer of innovation, vocational education and training, exchange of knowledge, information access, capacity building, awareness raising, social cohesion, research and ;

EILD except several national activities has implemented successfully European projects.

EILD could bring added value to the proposal since we are collaborating with many stakeholders such as municipalities, universities, private and public authorities etc. Furthermore EILD has experienced staff and external collaborators with competences compatible to the nature and the needs of each project and activity.

EILD has developed proposals in the past and will continue to develop in the future. We take this opportunity to contact you and we hope to collaborate in this proposal and other proposals in the future.

Furthermore EILD maintains its own network which is consisted of 52 members (organizations, NGOs, companies, SMEs, municipalities, Universities, local and regional authorities).
