LM Formateur Ltée, a non-profit company based in the southwest of Mauritius, is committed to empowering youth through education support and vocational training in rural areas. Our project aims to reduce unemployment and eradicate poverty by providing young people with the resources and skills they need to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Our program offers professional training in bakery, pastry, and culinary arts to young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. These individuals often have difficulty finding employment due to incomplete schooling or other challenges. Our training program is designed to help them find employment and become responsible adults.

In our region, there are five hotels that recruit new employees every year due to retirements. Despite the availability of many training schools in Mauritius, there are few that cater to the needs of our target demographic. These young people require more attention and confidence-building measures, but they have the potential to become excellent employees.

We are currently seeking partners who share our vision of empowering youth and are interested in collaborating on this project. Potential partners could include local hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, and supermarkets, as well as other organizations committed to youth development and poverty reduction.
