Through its activity the Consumer Protection Agency ensures:

Integral and uniform treatment of consumer protection issues;
Permanent communication with the consumer of the capital, timely verification of their complaints and taking appropriate measures. Citizens of Tirana have the opportunity to express their concerns directly to the Agency, by telephone or online;
Continuous information of the consumer on the markets, products, trade of goods outside the hygienic norms and standards, lack of necessary documentation;
Cooperation with other government agencies, Central institutions at the local level that deal with aspects of consumer protection, but also with non-governmental organizations in order to undertake joint actions for consumer protection. We mention here the National Food Authority, the Institute of Public Health, the Organization for Consumer Protection, the Directorate of Market Surveillance, the Central Technical Inspectorate, etc .;
Active and contributing involvement of consumers in various forms of action and activities, in favor of increasing cooperation and coordination between all relevant factors and local and regional components in the field of consumer protection;
Awareness and prevention of violation or violation of consumer rights through the component of quality, intensive and continuous counseling and education.
