Zvyšování odborných kompetencí žáků a pracovníků dostihové školy

The submitter of the project is the Czech Racing School, educational institution for riders, breeders and stable staff, with almost sixty years of tradition, absolutly unique in the Czech Republic. The project partners are four major similar educational institutions in the UK (The British Racing School in Newmarket), Ireland (The Racing Academy and Centre of Education in Kildare), Hungary (Pettkó-Szandtner Tibor Lovas Szakiskola és Kollégium in Babolna) and Slovakia (Agriculture college - Szakközépiskola in Sala), which educate future riders, stable staff and horse breeders.The main purpose of this project is to increase the adaptability and improvement of professional skills and competencies of our pupils and improvement of their position in European labor market. It also aims at developement of their linguistic competence, especially English language. The project is not only focused on understanding of work environment and work attitude in other European Union countries of European Union, but also on familiarization of different working methods, operational procedures and also establishment of professional contacts.These objectives will be met within the four mobilities into four different EU countries.1) Six pupils are going to participate in a three-week work placement in a specialized equestrian educational institutions in Hungary, Ireland, Great Britain and Slovakia. The goals of the mobility is to experience different practices in horse care and horse training and new approaches to horse breeding and reproduction.This internship should motivate the participants for futher education and deepening their following profesional growth. We expect them to will apply their acquired knowledge and experience in future employment not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad.2) Three of our teachers will also participate on job shadowing in Ireland, Great Britain and Slovakia. The length of the internships is planned from 2 to 5 days. Our teachers will follow various methods of teaching of vocational and practical courses that are crucial to our school growth. Mobility will allow the teachers to compare the used methods and the syllabi of the educational curriculum amog our school and relevant hippological institutions. The outcome will be disseminated at various seminars for other teachers of our school. During the visit will also be proceeded some educational videos. Organizations participating will mutually enrich each other with new experiences in the field of equine education, encourage mutual relations and will continue in further cooperation in future projects. This project will fullfil our desires to become one of the best quality horse racing and breeding centers in Europe.
