Social Innovation Agency is an innovation platform developed as a project of Konya Science Youth Education Association in cooperation with Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Necmettin Erbakan University. The agency contains four sections including Research & Education, Publication, Social Solution and Project Unit.
Research Unit:
- Mission of this unit is to examine the contents of the research, to determine methodology, to manage process and to analyze results.
Social Solution Unit:
- Mission of this unit is to eliminate or minimize the existing problems of society, to submit collective suggestion, to produces solutions in line with the needs and requests of the society.
Education and Publication Unit:
- Mission of the unit is to coordinate the training programs within the extent of the Social Innovation Agency in accordance with the methodology. In addition, it is to ensure that informative and sensitive activities are transferred with visual, audio and written documents.
Project Unit:
Mission of the unit is to collaborate and work with national and international partners to tackle entrenched societal issues following a multistakeholder approach and leveraging on different assets, skillsets and networks and. We are also looking for multi-stakeholder partnerships for public good is a shared trait of all trends. It also aims to be a pioneer in expanding its network on these platforms. In addition, project consultancy is also carried out.
Our keystaff are coming from different social fields such as history, sociology, philosophy, art history, political science, mathematics, data science, city and region planning, biotechnology, educational science. They are experienced in local in international projects. Our agency would like to spread the social innovation culture with in our city and country, and contribute to the data based policy production and social entrepreneurship as a new area with the widespread technology entrepreneurship.
Our agency aims to raise social awareness with reports and index on issues that need a social solution. The Social Innovation Agency analyzes social impact based on social benefits. The agency develops innovative solutions based on trust and it investigates effective, social development. It also construct a solution space for new methods to adapt to the changing social conditions.
Social Innovation Agency is a social platform that carries out its work with demand focused model, design focused programs, value focused production and public cooperation and produces sustainable, innovative ideas in accordance with social values. We have a strong local, national and internation networks and we work cooperatively with several municipalities, universities, education centers, SMEs, NGOs and National Education Directorate in different projects.
We are open to any new Project ideas about social innovation and social fields.
