Myrtle Learning Centre

Myrtle's mission is primarily to offer an educational opportunity to equip students making it easier for them to navigate their learning journey.

our vision is to provide supplementary learning environment for all categories of students through the effective use of digital learning tools to help students build essential 21st-century skills in pursuit of their desire for academic excellence.

As part of our strategic vision we established a learning centre in December 2020 that is currently providing a strong language and after-school tutoring program designed for teachers to give individual attention to the students, using methods that helps encourage students to engage with their regular school topics at a deeper level.

We have identified the need for additional primary and secondary schools to serve the island of Mindelo (Cape Verde).

 It is from this need that Myrtle Learning Centre is building its foundation by coming up with the vision of setting up an Education Centre that will not only help prevent stunted cognitive development of children, facilitate better academic performance.

But also meet the overwhelming demand for places in both primary and secondary schools in Mindelo Island.
