About Me

Assistant professor in Production systems development.

Interested in the behavioral dynamics of socio-technical systems, analyzing from the holistic policy perspective. Problem structuring and simulation of complex and dependent systems using system dynamics. Some research in applying multi-objective optimization (MOO) in order to search such models and extract deeper levels of information, such as patterns of multiple simulation solutions.

Also, interested in the healthcare sector, studying the interconnection between the development of diseases, preventive measures, and the direct and consequential effects on the healthcare system. The main objective is to defeat the short-termistic world view that the economic business administration perspective brings into the management control of businesses, and instead evaluate policies based on their long-term development (and short-term tradeoffs) at once, using the decision supports of simulation and MOO.
