
Fernando Macedo Rodrigues
He holds a PhD in Music / Music Education from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG - 2017); Master in Musical Practices - UFMG (2007), Specialization in Musical Didactics - UFMG (2004) and Bachelor of Guitar from UFMG (1995). He is currently a professor of Higher Education at the School of Music (ESMU) at the State University of Minas Gerais-UEMG. Researcher and member of the APREMUS group - Instituto de Artes / UNESP. He has experience in the area of Music Education, with emphasis on Teaching and Learning Processes in different contexts; informal learning and its applications. Acting mainly in the following areas: classical and popular guitar teaching, guitar teaching, formal and informal musical learning and research on Brazilian Popular Music. He has been acting professionally as a guitarist and guitarist since 1986, in the most diverse formations.
