About Me

The Cultural Innovation Competence Centre Association was founded in 2006, in Pécs. Its main goals are supporting the creation of a cooperative network between SMEs and inspire them for the internationalization. In 2007 the CICC Associacion founded the Cultural Creative Industry Cluster acting as an umbrella organisation for the creative industry of the region.

The cluster management organization is self-supporting, its incomes originates from various tender sources. We were cooperative partners in numerous European Union-funded and domestic projects. (Break In the Desk, Forget Heritage, Artenprise, ICCI  projects.) 

Activities of the CICC Association:

  • Exploring R&D partnerships with universities in the cultural and creative industries (development and innovation strategy of the university).
  • Assisting the incorporation and development of enterprises in the innovation and cultural industry, integrating them into the cluster.
  • Supporting shared procurements and the organisation of cultural service provision.
  • Organising joint sales.
  • Managing joint development, production and service provision activities.
  • Assisting the joint launching of products on the market (shared image and brand name).
  • Preparation of PR and advertising material.
  • Developing partnerships, organising partner meetings both within Hungary and internationally.
  • Supporting administration and project accounts.
  • Fund coordination and preparing tender applications.

Forget Heritage

Duration:
Project budget: 2,47 EUR

The Forget Heritage project is a three year long INTERREG Central Europe program, which started at The main objective of the project is promoting

 

 

 

cooperation between CE cities in order to identify innovative, replicable and sustainable PPC management models of the historical sites by valorising them through setting up cultural and creative companies.

Project budget: 434 000 EUR

The partnership will innovate the current offer for CC industries training on entrepreneurship by making the competences, the skills and the entrepreneurial attitudes a mean for artists/creatives interact with other public and private contexts (PA/SME) to become trainers, promoters, facilitators of innovation and problem solving through creative thinking and intervention.

Project budget: 298 000 EUR

The project aims to:

  • train the Creative and Cultural Industries sector on how to internationalise its services and products.
  • raise awareness of the need to integrate general management and internationalisation, export skills in cultural and creative curricula
  • promote national and international CCI-s networks and clusters

Art(EN)prise

Duration:
Project budget: 253 000 EUR

The project aims to:

  • train the Creative and Cultural Industries sector on how to internationalise its services and products.
  • raise awareness of the need to integrate general management and internationalisation, export skills in cultural and creative curricula
  • promote national and international CCI-s networks and clusters

 

 

 

Design Pécs

Duration: 2014-2017

During the one-week long program, where the visitors could meet with local actors, artists, creatives and they can visites workshops, open galleries, fashion shows, and presentations.
