Translation professional practice is quite vocational. Many of the current translators all around Europe, whatever languages they work with, have not been trained in the use of those tools that are cutting the edge in this field right now, like Machine Translation and particularly Neural Machine ;
The draft idea aims to create some activities for professional translators to understand and learn how to introduce these kind of resources in their professional practice. It would also be a chance for professionals of other fields with a deep knowledge of foreign languages to get introduced to translation as a professional practice.
