The ecological consequences of disposing enormous amounts of hospital waste together with the steadily increasing costs of disposal, make the search for ecologically and economically sound solutions important to ;Prior the project a research on the disposal strategies of hospital waste around EU was ;The starting point of the project is the development of a strategy for the optimisation of hospital waste management as the basis for a common procedure for the disposal of hospital waste across the ;In the same time a training material targeting employees in hospitals in partner countries will be developed for the up to date information and training of hospital employees.
