The Bonovos, aside from chimpanzees, are the closest blood relatives to humans and they can only be found in  the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa. Bonobos could go extinct due to the dangers they are facing in the wild: deforestation, hunting, war. The idea of the documentary will be to experience the connection with their habitat, their lives as community, the interaction with sorrounding indigenous people and tourists visiting the area.
