We have long-standing experience with European projects. Recently, we were partner in a EU-Project Vitimob, that is co-financed through ERASMUS+. The goal was to create partial qualification in the area of viticulture for persons with disabilities or people with special needs. Through lowering the standards for the education, we want to increase professional mobility.
We are also leading another German – French project Participation 4.0. The project is cofinanced through EFRE. The goal of this project is to generate jobs in the border region of Germany and France for persons with disabilities.
Our locality in the border region offers a great possibility for European projects and they are a big part of our daily work.
Because of how close our location is to the Alsace, we have been working with French partners for a long time. Still, we would like to create more projects with other countries in Europe to increase the mobility of our learners and to offer new possibilities for peoples with disabilities. Of course, it would be very interesting for us, if, for example, we could have an exchange of Best Practices with organizations that aim at the same target group, especially peoples with disabilities and learning difficulties. We try, thanks to an exchange with other EU-countries, to go on learning / discovering new ways and methods of work, as well as to spread our successful methods to find work for peoples with disabilities.
