We are a research team of economists offering expertise in theoretical and empirical analyses of organized crime structures and activities, including the infiltration of local governments and legitimate businesses. Our previous work encompasses analysis of Mafia networks, extortion rackets, inequality and organized crime, and corruption. We have successfully participated in Horizon projects focused on organized crime and terrorism (PROTON) and served also as expert evaluators.
In particular, we are currently interested in joining a consortium forming on the EU call
Fighting Crime and Terrorism 2023 (HORIZON-CL3-2023-FCT-01)
But would be happy to establish connections with other groups working on similar topics!
