Project Idea: This innovative project focuses on enhancing the skills and safety of women in seafood processing facilities. These facilities often employ women who lack prior experience and are required to work with dangerous equipment. The solution is a comprehensive virtual reality (VR) training program. This program will simulate real-life processing scenarios, teaching women essential skills such as filleting and operating pressure autoclaves. The training aims to be engaging and educational, culminating in certification recognizing their newly acquired expertise. This project seeks experienced international partners and project coordinators to help develop and implement this VR training program, thereby improving workplace safety and empowering women in the seafood processing industry.
