Dr Kris Rampersad is an international development educator and multimedia journalist in culture, literature, media, youth and gender who utilises conventional and new media modes for formal and informal transmission of knowledge for lifelong learning. She has been working to bridge silos and erode walls between and among sectors and disciplines to connect communities of interests across formal, informal and nonformal environments through research, analyses, and knowledge sharing, training adults and next generations to address development challenges. With a PhD in the humanities, her work spans human and social developmental fields of education, culture, media and the arts, applied to economics and trade, governance and politics, labour and employment, youth, gender mainstreaming, heritage and environment conservation and protection, religious tolerance and migration and adaptation.
